I thought I'd write a mini behind-the-scenes blog, just incase you haven't seen enough of us over on the Insta-grid!?

So who is behind the Dotty Dog greeting card designs?
Well that's me... I'm Kathy, the founder of Dotty Dog and the very happy illustrator behind all the Dotty greeting cards. My background is in illustrating and graphic design (prior to re-training as a Veterinary Nurse) and I set up Dotty Dog in 2013 after being made redundant.
I have a huge passion for dogs and have always had dogs in my life. Dogs have played a massive part in my everyday living and after not being able to find the perfect dog card I decided to create one... because let's face it, every card should have a dog on right?
I share my Dotty Dog studio with three rescue dogs and they are definitely the inspiration behind many of my dog designs.

And delighted to be supporting other small, local independent businesses in the production of our greeting cards too.
Our beautiful planet means everything to us here at Dotty Dog and as a dog-loving, nature respecting paper enterprise we are committed as a company, to reduce our environmental impact.
As a product-based business Dotty Dog has taken the NAKED CARDS pledge to reduce packaging and ‘go naked’.
As a result of this all of our greeting cards come with a recycled kraft envelope and are cello free.

Out of our most popular designs this year Mother's day was hugely popular along side our all year round birthday favourites.
We work closely with Dogs on the Streets to produce Christmas cards which raise invaluable funds for the dogs belonging to the UK's homeless - because every dog matters.
